Blurio Lockscreen Companion

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

Blurio does not collect, store or share any personal data. Your photos stay on your device.

Photos you choose

Blurio does not ask for access to your photo gallery. You add photos through Android's built-in photo picker, and the app can only see the photos you select there.

A copy of each selected photo is kept in the app's private storage on your device so you can turn it into a wallpaper. These copies are never uploaded. You can remove any photo from the app at any time, and all copies are deleted when you uninstall the app.

On-device processing

The depth effect, which separates the subject of a photo from its background, is processed entirely on your device using Google's ML Kit. Your photos are not sent to any server for this.

ML Kit may send Google anonymous diagnostic and usage information, such as performance metrics and device details, to help maintain and improve the service. This information does not include your photos or any personal data. See ML Kit's terms and Google's Privacy Policy.

What we don't do

Wallpapers and settings

The wallpapers you create, your saved wallpapers, favourites, clock style and rotation settings are stored only on your device. Blurio uses Android's wallpaper permission solely to set the wallpapers you choose.

Children

Blurio is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
